Home Installation
We offer a home installation service allowing those in need of a little extra help in setting up their order the peace of mind that is often lacked when ordering a new computer. This ranges from a basic installation right through to family surf control and that all important data transfer. Below is a breakdown of each service and what it covers:
  • Technician Assisted Installation & Set-Up

    • Unpack PC, connect plugs and power supply.
    • Establish internet connection (must already be up and running).
    • Set up e-mail account (must already be purchased).
    • Set up security updates and demonstrate key security features.
    • Connect 2-3 peripherals (printer/fax/camera etc.). This includes a maximum of one printer.

  • Technician Assisted Installation & Set-Up + Wireless Internet + Family Surf Control

    • Unpack PC, connect plugs and power supply.
    • Unpack wireless router and connect to the existing internet connection.
    • Connect the network to up to 3 wireless ready PCs.
    • Set up e-mail accounts (must already be purchased).
    • Secure the wireless network, set up security updates and demonstrate key security features.
    • Connect up to 3 peripherals (printer/fax/camera etc.). This includes a maximum of one printer.
    • Set-up surf control for family members.

  • Technician Assisted Installation & Set-Up + Data Transfer

    • Unpack PC, connect plugs and power supply.

    • Transfer up to 10GB of end user data and application files including email, internet favourites, My documents, My pictures, My Videos, My Music.
    • Placing these files in the appropriate places on the new computer.

  • Technician Assisted Installation + Wireless + Family Surf Control + Data Transfer

    • Unpack PC, connect plugs and power supply.
    • Unpack wireless router and connect to the existing internet connection.
    • Connect the network to up to 3 wireless ready PCs.
    • Set up e-mail accounts (must already be purchased).
    • Secure the wireless network, set up security updates and demonstrate key security features.
    • Connect up to 3 peripherals (printer/fax/camera etc.). This includes a maximum of one printer.
    • Set-up surf control for family members.
    • Transfer of end user and application files including email, internet favourites, My documents, My pictures, My Videos, My Music.
    • Placing these files in the appropriate places on the new computer.
