memory change

what is the difference spec and design wise and am i better off now?

Change to 8GB KINGSTON HYPER-X GENESIS DUAL-DDR3 1600MHz (4 x 2GB KIT) from 8GB CORSAIR XMS3 DUAL-DDR3 1600MHz (4 x 2GB KIT)

Identical, just diff manufacturers. Kingston runs more stably on x58 chipsets, but i doubt thats what u ordered if u have dual channel memory (2x2gb)

at least the blue kingston modules will match the case fans.

I must admit, they do look very very nice :D and the heatsinks arent cheap, theyre of good quality.

No difference in performance, simply different make as Slei says. We have discontinued XMS3.
