View Full Version : Help required for a new mini PC
Hi,
I'm thinking of getting a new PC, and a Mini one seems like a good option for size and quietness. However, what I'd like is:
An SSD drive to install Windows onto
A large (~1TB) SATA drive
A DVD drive
either on-board wireless or space for a wireless card
Can anyone suggest a spec for these requirements? It is possible to get this under £500?
Thanks!

Thanks for the spec. This doesn't seem to have on-board wireless networking or space for a PCI card though, is this correct? Also, if I wanted to beef up the processor to an i3 or i5, would I need extra cooling?
The case is low profile so unfortunately our integrated wireless network cards don't fit. Here's the spec with a USB WiFi adapter:

You can upgrade to an i3 or i5 processor no problem - we use the "S" version of the Intel Core processors as they are of a lower power consumption.
