Good stuff! Waiting in anticipation
This waiting is like waiting for Christmas to come when I was young. Time goes slowly.

You know what they say...Good things come to those who wait. Better things come to those who pay for Saturday delivery ;) hehe i'm so harsh :P Sunday tomorrow, only one more day!
Tomorrow it's Monday!
Oh yeah, sorry, forgot to say, I kinda stole the PC at the depot, my bad ;)
Students, dont even know what day it is.

Haha yes, we do get lost sometimes :P
Ok guys I got it. :)
It can run Final Fantasy 14 really well but the graphics at the moment are not that smooth. How can I improve the performance of my graphics card to have a better picture?
Whats the spec?
I'm looking at getting a new rig, mainly for FFXIV lol What server are you on?
He's got a GTX460 (768mb) so it should be pretty smooth, are you using a dial up internet connection?
I have broadband but all I did to hook it up to the net was put an ethernet cable in the pc to the modem.
Here's some more information:
My windows 7 has no product key with it and it says I have 30 days to activate it.
Maybe that's one of the reasons why I'm not getting good results?

That's not the reason. And you do have a product key - it's on the side/back of your PC.
Thanks PCS.
I thought the product key would be in Windows 7 case lol.
The new FF is a very demanding game, you need to play with the settings is all, you should be able to get a good trade between looks and performance with your rig.

that's what I thought as well. why would the key be on the pc case and not inside the disk case? I could understand it if it was a pc bought from a high street store where there is no installation cd included in the purchase.

Attaching the license sticker to the side of the case is part of the Microsoft terms and conditions we have to adhere to in order to sell OEM Windows pre-installed.
oh right, fair enough then I suppose. just a bit inconvenient if/when you have to do a full reinstall that you have to drag the whole pc out to get at the key to make a note of it.
Indeed, but licensing terms is licensing terms.
Would have been more sensible to jot it down before putting the PC somewhere inaccessible? Where have you put it anyway? The sticker is normally just on the top corner on the side of a case, close to the front, just slide the PC out an inch or two and you'll be able to see it.

I've been on the nVidia control panel for settings but I just don't have a clue how to do it.
But thanks to the forum members who are trying to help me solve the issue.
