Powerglide AIO Optical Output Sound

I saw the AIO systems have just the optical out for speaker systems, so I was curious if anyone knew a sure fire way to use 5.1 speakers that don't have any optical in / out with this system?
Mainly asking because most of the PC 5.1 speakers don't have any optical input and the only ones i've seen that do have it are £200 +

Lots of forums seem to mention getting a decoder and lots of cable converters / 3.5mm etc and stuff like that. So does anyone at PCS or otherwise have a clue of how to do it or managed it with one of the AIO?

Both models of our AIO PCs have 8 channel Intel HD audio, meaning you can connect a 5.1 HD speaker system by analog.

I did send an enquiry about it but was told the surround sound was only avaliable using the optical port on it.
And looking at the images of it I couldn't see any obvious 3 port
