I would really appreciate your comments on my intended setup - detailed below - which will mainly be used with Lightroom, Photoshop CS5 and Nikon Capture NX2. no games will be played.
In the past I have usually bought direct from Dell (and have been very happy with them) so this is my first time buying from the Internet.....Have I chosen a good supplier in pcspecialists??
Any help greatly appreciated
Dave

Hi Camerashy,

Welcome to the forums.

Spec looks good, I would bump the PSU up to a Corsair TX650, people may find it overkill but its always a good ideas to have some spare juice especially when you'll be editing photos. Appart from that you've got a great rig.

yeah and may i suggest an NVIDEA graphics card? your using an intel processor and it works well with NVIDEA plus it gives more oomph :)

Good luck, and yes PCS are awsome!!

Pc you have chosen sounds perfect for your needs, although i agree about bumping up the psu. :)

Would the 1GB NVIDEA GTS250 be OK instead of the Radeon

Hey,

Welcome to the forums.

Yes, the GTS250 will be fine, it will actually probably give you a slight performance increase also! They only thing it lacks is Direct X11 however as you don't play games I very much doubt this will affect you.
