We use HW Monitor here to check temps on Intel/AMD OC's. It will give you one single temp of the CPU, compared to a temp for each core of the Intel CPUs.

Just as an addition to this, I've tried numerous temp monitors for my one, now if I understand it the i7-930 has 8 cores? yet the monitors only register the temps of 4, and I think coretemp only registered 3 :s

Is it not 4 cores and 8 threads?
