Does this have a LED backlit screen?

What is the sound like compared to your general laptops like Sony Vaio VGN-FW41E which I currently have at the moment.

Do you do any type of Military discount? Or possible free FAST TRACK 3 DAY BUILD!!

Which size Vortex i7 are you looking at? I'll grab the necessary product sheet and have a look for you. I'm afraid we cannot offer any Military discount or free fast track services :(

As per my above post, we have updated the specification details for our notebooks to include the screen backlight type.

For the Vortex i7: http://www.pcspecialist.co.uk/notebooks/vortex_i7_17/ - yes, this has an LED backlight :)

Regarding the sound, the laptop uses Intel High Definition audio, and has four speakers and a sub-woofer, and so the quality should be very high and as good as, if not better than your existing laptop.

Thank you for your responses. I've decided to get the 17.3" Vortex 480M which is also LED backlit so i'm very happy.
