This system is priced at £820 inc. VAT and is pretty much all I will need. Now my problem is, I have a rather tight budget of around £700-£750. Could you guys recommend some things to remove to get the system into this price range?
Or do you guys have some kind of Christmas sale?
I am quite computer literate so I would be fine adding new components at a later date, but I would rather just keep it in the base system if I could.

Welcome to our forums valkyrie :)

Just a quick note - you can view a forum friendly specification when using our configurator by clicking the "Post to Forum" - it should hopefully save you a few minutes. :)

The system you have put together (apart from the GPU) is the base system for an X58 system, and therefore reducing the price if going to be difficult. I would suggest configuring a system using our H55 configurator, here is my suggested spec:

Thanks for that!
I really can't see any difference in the system though. Could you explain please?
EDIT: doesnt matter, I see the I5 now.
Out of interest, will I be able to up it to an I7 at a later date?

The I7 runs off a different socket so the motherboard would have to be changed and also some triple channel ram would be advised.

And one last thing, would I be able to survive if I swapped the Mobo for the default

Yes, you can get away with this motherboard. You can configure your PC using this motherboard here: http://www.pcspecialist.co.uk/computers/intel-core-i5-pc/

Sorry to bump, but I just asked some friends about this.
Someone told me to up the PSU from 450W to 650 or 750. Is this really needed?

Yes if you plan on adding a 2nd card at a later date. But i cant remember if this board supports SLI anyway off the top of my head, hopefully PCS can fill you in on that :P

Dont forget the discount code when ordering ;)

Google ;) I dont want PCS to prod me with a stick for letting out the big secret xD

Early bird - I like it, good to organise yourself in advance :) Then you wont get caught out.

Discount codes are there for tracking purposes, when we need to track where a customer has come from so that we can determine if our advertising has worked. If I see any online we will discontinue the code immediately and replace with a new one, because it won't be truthfully showing where customers have found us :)

I searched Google, and lots of website were displaying as having some, but I couldn't actually find any codes?

That's because i'm a cunning fox! :) Nah I know I found it somewhere when I was buzzing around on my inter-webs travels, but couldn't remember for the life of me where ^^
