Do more expensive cases make any difference other than looks?

In a very blanket-like comment: they generally have better airflow for cooling, this can include extra fans as well.

There can also be a space issue. More expensive cases tend to have more space which means things like SLI GPUs, and as Rakk eluded to, more potential for additional fans.

But yeh...mainly looks :D
