Took my laptop into WEX today - they didn't have the BenQ 32" to try out, but I did connect the lappy to a high end 27" 4k BenQ, and the 27" 2K Asus you suggested,
And you were absolutely right, had no issues running 4k via DP and 2k via HDMI. I also looked into the out of stock ASUS ProArt...
The 32" Benq is out of stock at WEX. I suppose I could grab it from Amazon for a few quid more and always return it if it's struggling. Decisions...I'm crap at them!

USB-C port does indeed have display (tested with a spare monitor. I used a USB-C hub with an HDMI adapter, but was thinking of getting one of these to run directly from the USB slot. Hopefully that would give the full advertised refresh rate.
My laptop bought from here a couple of years ago has the specification below. I want to run 2 monitors, one via the HDMI port and another connected to a USB to HDMI adaptor.
What would be the max specced monitors that I could use with this? i was hoping to go for 2 x AOC Q27G2E, 27" (2560 x...

Looking to build a PC mainly for audio and video editing. Mainly using Cockos Reaper DAW, Native Instruments Kontakt, Adobe Photoshop/Premiere.
Here's what I'm thinking, any advice for improvements and ideas on reducing noise gratefully received.
