I looked this up about processor it's really nice :P.

I'm still thrown between the Nvidia graphics card and the ATI card though GB ATI RADEON™ HD 5850 PCI EXPRESS - DirectX® 11.
    Is the 640GB WD CAVIAR GREEN WD6400AARS, SATA 3 Gb/s, 64MB CACHE faster then the 640GB WD CAVIAR BLACK WD6402AAEX, SATA 6 Gb/s, 64MB CACHE (7200rpm)?

Your specification looks great, very well balanced and good for gaming.

the 3G and the 6G are basically identical. The 6G is MINUTELY faster in some rare read/write instances. SATA 6gb/s is mainly used for Solid state drives at the moment. So, just go for the 3G drive. (WD10EARS)

Nah, theyre just offering more bang for buck. But in terms of performance, theyre not quite up to where Intel is at.

Do you think the motherboard could be improved or? I'm really not sure about that.
I'm changing this intel seems alot more stable from what i've been reading more into AMD.

Not particularly no, you can add a second GTX 465 in with a dual SLI mobo so thats fine. One possibility would be a TX850W PSU if you intend to add the second GTX 465 at a later date? I'd advise you check with staff on this one though as you MAY be able to get away with 750W still with 2 GTX 465s.

I'm getting 2nd thoughts about the AMD processor though becuase I'm reading they have a high performance but when you reach lets say 3.6-4ghz it only lassts for about 2 hours.

    Nope.

Nah, theyre just offering more bang for buck. But in terms of performance, theyre not quite up to where Intel is at.
The 1090T is a tweaked version of an older architecture rather than a brand new version - not necessarily a bad thing as it's also backwards compatible with older boards. AMD tend to get more life out of their platforms than Intel. This one is tried and tested and works well.

Your specification is somewhat similar to mine with the exception of the graphics platform, adding recent technologies to get the best out of the processor (which is after all a priority).

It doesn't appear to be as good a value as some of AMD's budget processors, because it's currently their flagship processor. Value, or 'bang for buck' as Sleinous succinctly puts it, is dependent on how you compare it to the competition.

Sure, it isn't in the same league as Intel's flagship processor. But this includes PRICE as well as PERFORMANCE. When comparing it with Intel's latest and similarly priced i5 and i7 quad cores, you get a hexa core. Not bad in my book.

There are plenty of benchmarks that show the 1090T trading blows with these processors too. The only time AMD really gets its *** handed to it by Intel is on memory bandwidth. The dual channel system loses out to triple channel. As for gaming, losing a few FPS really doesn't matter when the figures in question are already 60+.

Basically, don't doubt your decision. You've made a sensible one and your spec is so well balanced overall that you can't not be happy with it. When it comes to high end computing, life's good no matter what you choose.

I've gone off on one defending AMD again, sorry!
