Enable SATA 3 6gb/s for SSD

I've got a Vortex II with a 750gb HDD and a 240gb Kingston SSD, however the SSD is only running at SATA 2 (3gb/s) speed!

Any idea why this is and how to get it to run at full speed?

    Quick bump.

It seems the SSD is in the optical caddy rather than the dedicated HDD slot (Even though the SSD was the primary drive in my order ). Could this be why it's not running at full speed?

Any idea how to get the optical caddy out so I can swap them round to see if it fixes it?

Yep optical drive isnt that speed connection, so swapping them will fix it. I dont know how to though, sorry. I think theres a recent post on how to remove the optical drive on a different laptop, might help some how.
