looks good, but I think they have strayed a little to far from the idea of surviving raccoon city, solving puzzles and working things out along with a detailed story line. I do hope its similar to the originals, but have a feeling it wont be anywhere near as good.

Looks great , i do infect know where to get resident evil 1, 2 & 3 on pc , but there are some issues

    1) you cant get a resolution higher than 640/480 (800/600 for 2 & 3)
    2) Its not legit (torrent)
    3) not very well seeded so it will be very slow to download
    4) They don't like modern hardware one bit

But they are out there , but i cant find anywhere that you can buy them legit unfortunately .
( i Have had them for a long time for the emulator , so i guess i could have looked more thoroughly i will admit)

You can play them on the PCSX emulator with high resolutions & better filtering plus AA & things like that
( & also controller support for ps3 pads-if you have a blue tooth receiver & hacked software) , 360 pads are a breeze though.

But again you will need the ISO files to play - maybe if you could find the PSX originals somewhere cheap then this would be the way to go ( just use daemon tools or something similar to make ISO s from the disks) ,
there is in fact a plugin for both PCSX & PCSX2 (PS2 emulator) to be able to just read straight from the disk in your drive if you want to ( tested them both & they work great)

you may also need to enable only one core for PSX1 as it doesn't like any more that one usually
( PCSX2 is best with as many cores as possible)

So if you can buy or already own the PSX or Ps2 games then the emulators are the best way to go for resolution & pad support etc

I'd like to play Resident Evil 1 and 3 on my pc, I know they release them on PS3 a while ago to download online. Was there an issue with Resident Evil 1 only working on previous versions of Windows only?
