hibernation / multitouch with linux on a laptop
Hi All
I was just wondering if hibernation and other such functions worked out of the box on a laptop? I'm thinking of getting a xenon, with an SSD. I'll probably be using Ubuntu, or mint.

I can't answer that myself, but the guys over at linuxquestions.org might be able to! They solve all of my Linux-y problems

There's been something on the ubuntu-uk list about this - aparrently these functions used to work but are less well supported on 12.04 - it's a kernel problem and should be resolved shortly. Maybe join the ubuntu-uk list?
