looks excellent mate, but If i may make a suggestion.

I would up ya case from the haf 912 ( its a great case, but a tad small, esp with a 580 and the titan fenrir cooler -a beast itself) to maybe a cm690 II, its bigger, and will house ya high end rig alot more comfortably, offers much much better cable management and cooling.

Are you planning to overclock? if not then you could drop the to 2500, and drop the cooler to the triple copper cooler. If you want the option stick with what you have now.

edit - why a 750gb drive then a 2tb drive? have you considered a ssd for the OS then a 2tb drive for games/storage etc.

Yeah I thought about the case being a bit small, so I took your advice and went for the CM690 II. So thanks for that.

Ohh yeah I will be overclocking it, it's the reason i got the 2500K and the fenrir cooler, it's a specific gaming rig and so I'll be tuning it for maximum performance. I did it with my past two previous PC's and certainly don't want to stop it now. Anything to make sure my SC2 actions per seconds keep high and the FPS stays steady when there's silly amounts of units on screen.

    Thanks for the comments.

The HDD sizes and choices is a preference really, I like to have lots of storage on my PC's, I usually download a lot of music and podcasts, but also have a lot of apps installed too. I've planned to get a SSD at a later point and load it with just the OS and maybe the odd other program, when funds permit it.

sounds good mate, Ya probably more experienced in relation to overclocking than me, so I will shut up on that front haha,

But have you considered having the machine overclocked by pcs? If ya still wanna do it ya self, I'd give them a bell and ask for the better thermal paste, mx4 I think it is, and they sell it for 9 quid.

Congratulations, looks like a nice solid build. Good to overclock yourself to save £££ if you know how, and it's a lot easier these days. Congratz again.

I have to add another comment to the post, I have to give PCS credit where it's due, I had ordered the I5 2500K but they called me and told me it was hard to get hold of so they've upgraded it free of charge to an Ivybridge i5-3570K (3.4GHz). Result.

Could you perhaps explain the option of using a SSD for the opsystem, and a standard drive for games + storage?

Sounds dense i know, but I was wondering about that myself...
