Nvidia GT 640M and GT 650M.

Hello,

I note other builders have brought out systems featuring these video cards. Furthermore, a system with a 640M and an Ivy Bridge i7 seems to be costing around £800.00.

Any sign of something similar approaching here? If so, at what sort of price point, and when? This is because I really want something a bit better than a 555/635 but can't afford the Skyfire or Vortex models.

From what I've gathered, the Optimus III should have the GT650M at a similar price to the Optimus II with 555M and should be available around the end of May. This could be outdated information but as a rough timescale it's probably okayish, hopefully PCS can confirm.

I can confirm that 640M chassis are on order and 650M chassis are in stock, however they are not for sale until the older generation chassis have sold out. This will be roughly towards the end of May.

EDIT: I'm assuming that the 640M chassis will be the Enigma III successor and the 650M the Optimus II successor?

15.6" in stock, 17.3" due in end of May. Neither on sale yet.

Enigma IV and Optimus III will be 650M, Genesis IV will include 640M along with Voyager II.

Any idea as to how much more expensive these will be than the current models?

640M will be around £30 more expensive than 630M. The 650M will be around £30 more than 640M.
