Windows upgrade offer

I have ordered my pc on the 29.05.2012 so does it mean that I don't qualify for the offer (https://windowsupgradeoffer.com)? It is still on the pre-production stage so it's technically not a pc yet, so if I asked nicely would it be possible to use this offer anyway?

Yes if you cancel and reorder your new order would start at the bottom of the queue again (I think)

It probably depends on the terms and conditions of the offer as to whether you could get it or not, but PCS have nothing to do with the offer, it is a Microsoft offer, therefore it's up to them as to who gets it or doesn't get it.
So if Microsoft want to see the invoice for the PC it would obviously have the order date on it at which point it wouldn't apply, if however they just use the Windows registration date (ie when you register Win7 to yourself) then you would be fine - but I do not know how they work out the date.

You must purchase a qualified Windows 7 PC between June 2, 2012 and January 31, 2013 to be eligible for this offer. The last day to register and order your Windows 8 upgrade is February 28, 2013.

I am honestly not sure if it must be purchased within that date, or activated as Rakk mentioned... As, like you say, your PC isn't built yet..

* PC make / model
* Purchase date
* Retailer / PC Manufacturer

One can question if "Purchase date" is the same as order, or received date.

One can question if "Purchase date" is the same as order, or received date.
To me it means "Received date".

However, many would look at it and say the purchase date was the day it was paid for - which in this case is the day it was ordered (maybe a day or so later dependent on banks).

And a quick check on dictionary.com reveals:
'To purchase' means 'to buy', and these PC's are bought on the day of order, no matter when they are recieved.
