My baby is home! (Genesis IV)

Yay, yay, yay, yay and yay!

My little baby arrived today while I was at work (house mate received it for me).
And all I can say is YAY! Ordered on the 30th, so just short of three full weeks later(scroll down for dates),
I'm now sitting here with my new shiny machine of awesomeness ready to install windows
and about 20 other applications I use! Fairly certain this is going to take me most of the night, haha!

edit: I can't seem to upload pictures, all I'm getting is "upload failed", sorry.
Installed windows 7 ultimate 64 and it's running flawlessly! Also installed Windows 8 on another partition,
however after installing the Intel beta drivers for my GT 630m(1gb) windows got all borked, so had to
fall back to the windows default driver for my gfx. Also tried the install the GeForce drivers for Windows 8, but I wasn't able to install
them at all (can't remember the error message now, incompatible hardware?).

    Gotchas:
Fn+F10 Turns the webcam off. Was scratching my head for 10min wondering why it wasn't working!
To install the GeForce drivers for GT 630m (1GB), you have to install the Intel drivers first(both on drivers CD).

There's loads more, but I haven't had time to play with it enough (posting from it now though!).
One thing that confused me is how my gfx can score 5.1 on WEI on "desktop performance for windows aero",
and get 6.7 on "3D business and gaming graphics performance".

Stuff that's hard to tell before it arrived:
Left: Power, VGA, HDMI, SATA, Card reader, 2x USB, Lan
    Right: DVD, 1xUSB, Microphone, Speaker

    </edit>!

    Thank you Team PcSpecialist!

    Simon

Lets try imageshack then, woho! it works!
Didn't bother wiping it off before taking pictures, so you
could also see how easy fingerprints sticks to it. Which is pretty
much the only negative thing I have to say about it at this time!

If anyone wants to know anything else, go ahead!
Only thing I can think of myself to add to the above is that the packaging was amazing.
The only way I can see that laptop getting damaged in transit would be if they dropped it off a building or something.

Hi Simon been looking at an exact replica of the laptop you have, only I will be getting an i5, not the i7 (jealous). So I was purely wondering whether that spec you have is any good for gaming? Some feedback would be great, Frame rates and recommended games also would be brilliant.. Thanks!

Hi Simon, just a couple of questions:
    How much does it weigh?
How long is the battery life? (doing intensive things like gaming and just basic use like word processing)
How reliable has it been so far/how good is the build quality?

As an answer to Conner's question, it will do ok. I would definitely recommend the Optimus IV 15.6 over the Genesis. You can get a powerful machine for around £800. The GPU in the Genesis is a little underpowered if you are looking to use it for current games (on higher settings) or any games in the future. But you will be able to run some modern games on the higher settings with good FPS. I will list some FPS averages (high settings) for some games : CS:GO (64 fps) , Diablo 3 (42 fps), Mass Effect 3 (40 fps) , Sleeping dogs (17 fps) , Skyrim (19 fps) Hope this helps ; + Rep would help me
We stopped looking for monsters when we realized that they were inside us.
