Error Message At Boot Up
Hi Guys,
Ive had my pc for a while now but for the past week or two I get an error message when I boot up and the 'twanging' sound with it lol
The error message reads:-
================================================== ===============================
DPW Manager
Could not find any compatible Direct3D devices.
================================================== ===============================
I have googled the error message but have not found much that can help me so far.
I have the latest video drivers, I have checked the settings in the nVidia control panel which shows 3D is enabled etc...
Could anyone help me to get rid of this error message please?
PC Spec:-
nVidia GTX 680 4GB
Windows 7
Cheers!

A few simple things can check first off
Have you tried a chkdsk scan?
Start - type cmd and press enter. Type chkdsk /f /r press enter. Press Y then enter again and restart.
Have you tried a SFC scan
Start - type cmd and right click cmd and run as admin
type sfc /scannow press Enter.
Have ya tried the new 600 series beta drivers from Nvidia?
win7-winvista-64bit-304.48-beta-driver
Download CCCleaner and run it and clear all your comp crud.
CCleaner download

If I've helped at all please feel free to add Rep by clicking the little star

I have tried all of your instructions but I still get the error message when I boot up
I will search the nVidia forums and see if I can find any help there.
Thanks for your advice and the links you provided for me
