    Case Help?

Hey guys, my heads been rangeling over what case to pick given the you could say limited options available here on PCS.

I was sort of set on the HAF-x, but really hate the mesh stuff at the front nearly all of them seem to have.
the one i seem to like most is the CM Enforcer (£65) as it has both a side panal and no meshy look.

can someone advise me on case options? what is the benifits of the HAF-x over the Enforcer in terms other than looks?
and can you somehow mod the case to make it look less meshy and such? i'm hopefully getting Red LED inside but more modding options would be nice

so thats another review read that pipes the HAF-X up to god status. it's definitely the one i'll end up opting for from this site choice anyway, but seriously it has to me at least a kind of 'meh' exterior look. can you guys please suggest what mods i could possibly apply to change it up a bit - i've seen on overclockers people changing the front and all sorts and then yeah it looks good. apart from some red LED inside i've no idea what else to do. any thoughts?

    hello again kyle!

ah lucky you i'm ordering mine sometime this week, its just a case now of begging my girlfriend into submission and allowing me such a treat

yeah i can't be bothered waiting months for PCS to stock new cases so the HAF-X will do - however from reviews its pretty clear its the best case internally and efficiency wise, however 'oh shiny!' seems to be my logic when looking at cases! so you've opted for green eh? what you going to do about the red LED fan at the front? i'm thinking either red or blue - so your just adding LED's or are you going to jazz it up a bit more?

Convincing the GF ay! tricky one there I would take her out for dinner or buy her something to sweeten her up then ask her again haha maybe few shots as well

Hopefully the red led in the front wont be to bright and spoil it, not sure if i can turn it off on the haf-x, atm im gunna just put green leds in see how it looks you know, if it bad may have to add more lighting, on other hand i decided to upgrade my PSU to modular one for less cables and better look overall like you stated
    How about yourself?

you have not met her, i tried to go in soft saying 'yeah i'm thinking of getting a new .. family pc. originally i said £800 and now i'm absolutely bricking it to tell her its more like £1400. we just moved into a new flat so it probably shouldn't be my priority but come on! its super shiny!

what PSU were you going with originally? I just thought 750w-V pro would be worth the £20 or something since it is said to last way longer and is a bit more efficient so thats what i'm doing aswell!

uhm, as far as i know i've got my rough spec set out, going to go for the i5-3570k since for gaming there is 0 difference between that and the i7 and well basically i don't edit or render or do any that daft stuff so it seems like the obvious choice! really glad i came here as i was pretty set on the 7950 GPU but with a little advice and searching, it turns out the 670 is 41% better with WoW (that would have been a massive kick in the teeth!)

yeah i really don't fancy the mesh at the front of the HAF-x but its sadly the best case, i'm thinking over time i'll replace the back fans with blue ones and add some cool blue LED's and anything else i can find - honestly going to be skint after this purchase so hopefully in a month or so i can afford a nice new blue led keyboard and monitor to go
