CPU Cooler compatability...
Does anyone happen to know if the Titan Fenrir Evo Extreme CPU cooler happens to have any problems with the ASUS P8Z77-V PRO? I have seen on YouTube especially that the unit infact covers 2 ram slots on some mobos, is this taken into consideration when PCS check your configuration for compatability before you proceed to order? I ask this because I came across no prompts to change the CPU cooler upon checking, just for clarification would anyone know anything about this?

It would be find, you may not be able to have easy access to the ram slots but if the configurator allows you to chose the titan it means there are no issue. I'd consider the case you chose though since sometimes it could block the side panel fan.

Hello,we fit the memory module's before we fit the cooler so there is no problem with the Fenrir covering the memory slot's,even if it doe's it's a quick simple job of removing the fan and fitting your memory and then refitting the fan,it's a quick and easy job.

Ok thank you both for your replies, the case that I chose was the InWin Black Dragon Rider Gaming Case, and I have just watched a review of the case and on his motherboard he has a very very big CPU cooler, maybe a gap of 1 inch for the back fan and inch above it for the top fan, would this be sufficient, I really want my PC to last and I am not very knowledgeable when it comes to air flow. At all.

If I remember correctly to fit the titan you need to get rid of the side fan, you can always email PCS for confirmation but I remember when building my rig I was told that.

Ok, looking at alternatives, should I go for watercooling? And if so, what would be my best bet, bare the price in mind

Are you planning to overclock?

The triple copper heatpipe would do if you are not overclocking, if you are looking for something less bulky (and money is not an issue) you can go with the coolit ii A.L.C (£59).

Ok, I have compromised with my sound card which is not a necessity, so i have removed it as my mobo has built in 5.1, so I will go with the FatBoy if that is a good choice? Just an extra £16 it works out at
