Anyway. Say I purchased the NZXT Sentry 2 Fan Controller with my spec, meaning an extra 3 fans would have to be installed by PCS. What fans do you think PCS would install ? I would think they would add the rear and 2 side fans.

Edit : Forgot. "Most gaming cases come supplied with 3 or more fans by default". Thats why I thought it wasn't right.
I'd also be interested to know if PCS would supply the additional fans, I'd have though you will need to supply them. I have the same fan controller and I did send an additional fan since one of the top fans in my case was optional but not sure if that would have being provided by default.
I've seen some gaming cases with only 2 fans included by default like the corsair 300r.

Well Im pretty sure any open fan space is "optional".

"As part of the package WE will install up to 5 fans inside the case" I know it does not say they will supply the fans but they have made every open fan space "optional". not really fair.

You were right, it seems they will provide 3 additional fans if you chose the fan controller and the case.
As part of the package we will install up to 5 fans inside the case. Most gaming cases come supplied with 3 or more fans by default, and these will count towards the 5 fans in total that will be supplied.

You should expect any additional fans to be solid black and 120mm in size.

Yeh I should be right. Not really bothered about fan size or colour. I would probs as PCS to install the 3 extras on the side leave it at that. I think its better to have more intake than out take.

You could always had your own case fans and fan controller? That's exactly wht I would do mate. you get to choose your own fans/fan controller.

i'd go with a front 230mm and a top 230mm, -bitfenix spectre pros are very very good - LED versions clicky OR NON led versions clicky

Then get a rear exhaust too, (depending on ya choice of cpu cooler) liquid coolers will use this slot.

Then add a few to the side/bottom

ideally you want the fan intakes equal (ish) to the exhaust. Just so airflow doesnt get trapped anywhere.
