AMD is more bang for buck for Intel has better peformance (at a premium). There are previous threads discussing AMD vs Intel if interested.

Whatever you buy, whatever you run it on, you will get unsteady FPS and occasional lag on RuneScape. It's like that. Java might be responsible. Having said that, my mid-range Llano can run it adequately most of the time on on-chip graphics, although my standards aren't those of a dedicated gamer.

I too would like to know what else you will be trying to play. There are much fairer, more reasonable examples that RS.

If you are planning to play more demanding games (as Narcotics mentioned) you could go with with a better GPU and if you wish add an SSD (not essential) to speed up applications/games.

If you wanna only play games like call of duty then you don't need to spend £1300 at all get a 560ti and save some money

On the other hand if you play games like max payne 3 bf3 & Skyrim on ultra settings then get a 670 if you do go for the 670 the rubensolo build is solid personally i would get the rubensolo build
