Yep for gaming but also I do a lot of Photoshop work and no would not be going down the SLI route.
Why the change to the case?

Its cheaper and you don't really need an i7 for gaming as the hyperthreading of the i7's isnt utilised in games. Originally Posted by forester

The i7 would give you better performance for photoshop as well as 16gb but if it is only for gaming the i5-3550 would be more adequate with 8gb. As Rakk mentioned, the coolermaster 690 II gives you better cooling options/cable management. Originally Posted by forester
