    Strange drive!

Hey guys , have a weird thing happen to my new vortex 3, which im thrilled with btw.

A Loca Disk (Q: ) has just appeared in Computer .

I can't open it Access Denied

It has zero capacity and doesn't show up in Disk Management.

Very very annoying ! How did it get there and more importantly how do I get rid of it ?! I cannot delete it -

    Many thanks

Have you recently installed Office 2010?
If so this can create the drive you mentioned but it's nothing to worry about.

The program you installed uses the Application Virtualization (App-V) technology. This, therefore, requires the creation of a Virtual Drive. By default the drive letter for this virtual drive is Q.
The drive can disappear or reappear intermittently after reboots,or connecting a USB drive or memory stick that causes the list of drives to refresh may cause the virtual drive to reappear.
This virtual drive is intentionally not accessible to users in order to prevent accidental damage to the program. Therefore, a message saying that the drive is not accessible appears if a user tries to open it. This is normal
This is only a visual issue and does not affect the functionality of your system.
