    Help With Building A PC

    Hi there,

I am wanting to purchase a new PC I have a budget of 3,500 and my PC will be used for:

    Gaming
    Watching Blu Rays
    T.v/Recording
    Itunes

I'm really stuck on what I need and what to get as I can keep going to buy the best but is it needed?

    Any help would be great!

£3500 is a very high budget and to meet your requirements you would probably end up spending less. What sort of games? 1 screen or surround? any video editing?

3D is pretty GPU intensive so I selected the GTX 670 in SLI (2 of them), that should max high settings and in 3D the games you mentioned, you could probably downgrade to the i5-3550 which is more suitable for gaming and also downgrade the cpu cooler but since your budget was quite big you may well get the i7.

I have the ASUS VG278H 27" Monitor. It is nvidia 3d vision compatible and comes with a pair of 3D glasses, they are very good and you do not need to buy any additional kit. You need a DVI cable though for 3D vision. PCS sell that monitor, there is also a selection of keyboards and mouse there depends on what you are looking for.

    I wouldn't
A difference of more than £300 and very very small improvement (85.3 fps for the GTX 690 vs 84.9 fps for the GTX 670 in SLI)
