    Gaming laptop for brother

The brother is looking to get a new gaming laptop.

His price range is 600-1000, with 1000 being his top top limit.
He'll mainly be using for every day use, but wants to be able to game at a decent level, not ultra settings but decent nonethless.
He also said maybe some light video editing but very little so im sure an i5 cpu would suffice.

    Any suggestions?
    Thanks

Is it forbidden to discuss options not available through PCSpecialist? Having looked for a while I managed to find someone selling an AMD A10-4600m laptop - it's relatively low power on the CPU side but with dual graphics (it has a 7670m as well as the integrated graphics on the processor) seems to be able to match set-ups like the one above at some things (from the very few benchmarks I've found of each) and ends priced quite a bit lower. I'm a bit torn between the two, with the more expensive one from PCSpecialist sort of winning currently in my head.

Only 180GB storage space? That doesn't seem like much. Games can take up a lot of space nowadays and having videos for videos editing will take up more space. And if the SSD is the only storage medium you have, constantly reading and writing to it will only decrease it's life span. Might as well add a Scorpio Black to the laptop. It's within his budget.

Be sure to upgrade the above to silver, its only £5, and is well worth it.
