Question stuck between vortex III & vortex III LE - and can I put the OS on the SSD?

Vortex III has nvidia 670 / 675 (fermi chipset) and a backlit keyboard
Vortex III LE has nvidia 660 (kepler chipset) and normal keyboard.

Of course what I really want is a nvidia 660 with a backlit keyoard.............

If I stick in an mSata SSD, why can't I put the OS on that an keep the whirly thing for media?

Support says OS will go there unless it is specifically a cache boost drive.

+1 to this, I'd really like to know if we can request a Vortex III LE with a backlit kb.
