    Optimus III 15.6"

Hello all, I have had my Optimus for less than a day now and have a few questions about it...

1- i have a SSD installed in the primary hdd bay, whih fits fine and snug and doesn move around at all... But the secondary HDD bay seems a bit odd... I have put my 750gb HDD in, but theres a gap of about 1/2cm at the end. I'm hoping this makes sense to someone out there. Is there something that should be there to cushion/make it fit better??

2- The dedicated graphics auto switch is a bit annoying, and I don't understand the different features of it. I'd just like to be able to turn on the nVidia card when playing games, and turn off when I'm not... But it's all done automatically... And not very well it seems. I started playin Dead Island last night and it was running on the Intel gpu...
    Any way to stop this??

3- The wireless driver/connection isn't brilliant - there was no driver for it on the DVD that came with the laptop, and I'm only getting around 39mbps... I always had around 50-60 on my Acer. I've downloaded the driver from Intel, so I assume it's the latest one. I have the Intel n130 I think that should handle speeds up to 150Mbps!

4- laptop screen lid... I see it's changeable... Are new covers/lids easy to find online, and are they easy to change/will they void any warranty!?

5- my final question - as previously mentioned I have my SSD drive in what I class as the primary space for it, which fits fine etc... My other 5400 HDD sits in the middle of the laptop, and seems to get very hot. Is this normal, and would it be better to swap the hard drive locations??

go to the nVIDIA control panel, and select the application to run on the 'high performance Nvidia' option. this will force the .exe to launch using the dedicated GPU. if its not on the list add it manually.

for steam games, you'll have to go into ''program files -> steam -> steamapps-> common -->[gamename]'' to find the .exe.

I'm not very clued up about this in general, however when searching around for info on the Optimus III, the following came up. I'm not 100% certain, but the following quote seems to suggest that this model only holds one HDD...
