    Which Hard Drive?

Hello, as some of you may know I need to upgrade my hard drive soon because I have 80GB left. I am thinking of getting either a 1TB Samsung F3 or a 1TB WD Caviar Black. The only problem is that I have heard that the Caviar Black is very noisy. Any recommendations would be great. I am hoping that either one will be faster than my current 500GB SEAGATE Barracuda.

    Thanks,

    Agreed.

I have heard that the Caviar Black is very noisy
Like all HHD's. You can probably hear it during general use but it should be fine when playing games, music etc...

Would a non gamer like me notice any real difference between the 1 TD Caviar Black with 32 cache or the one with 64 cache ? I notice there is about £17 price difference between the two which is the same for The 2TB model .
