CPU cooler and Case Fan compatibility?

I have heard on a few posts that there was problems with the side case fan and the CPU cooler. People have said the case fan arrived disconnected because the CPU was too big?

The side fan usually arrives disconnected as a precaution not because of the size of the CPU cooler. If you choose the titan cooler PCS may remove the side panel fan due to its size but with the triple copper heatpipe (super quiet 22dBA) there is no need.
