"Remember Me" box on main site?

    Hi,

I ordered a computer from PCS last week. I find myself transported back to when I was 6 years old and waiting for Santa to arrive. I'm getting very excited about the new impending arrival and have been busily decorating the "computer room" in the house to make it befitting for the computer that will soon be here (much to the p-taking of all my mates at work and my wife who are constantly ribbing me about getting the 'nursery' ready for my new baby etc etc...)

Anyhooo, it's a bit of a pain having to log in to the PCS site everytime that I want to check the stage of my order (10th day of Pre-Production so far... :-( )

I thought it would be simple enough to add a "remember me" checkbox to set a cookie on the visitors computer so that they can just visit the site without logging in?

It would really save me time as I'm currently checking the status of my build around 40 times a day....

    Thanks

    John (eagerly expectant father...) ;-)

Simple solution: Just don't leave the site...ever

I've not yet said anything useful, but feel free to give me +Rep anyway

Ha ha... I was checking the site around 9pm last night and my wife is saying "Nothing will have changed... it's 9 at night!" and my reply was... "Maybe someone is working overtime...!" lol.....

That was my solution when I was waiting for my PC to arrive, but I'm sure it auto-logged me out at some points or I timed out due to inactivity or something because I had to log in again occasionally :P

You clearly were not pressing F5 enough (every couple of minutes should be about right )

    F5 firmly smashed into keyboard?

The waiting is always the worst part, but it is sooo worth it when it arrives

Employ one of said kids to press F5 every 10 seconds...tell them it dispenses sweets after every 1000th press...wait, no, this 2012 right? Tell them it dispenses an iPod every 1000th press
