New gaming PC

Hi everybody! First of all, sorry if the spec I'm about to post will make you think "Is this guy for real?!" as I only have a limited knowledge of PC's. But I'm looking to get a new gaming pc since my current PC is getting a little outdated. Here is what I have come up with so far, and I'm planning to play most of my games on high graphics mode .

For that spec I would try to upgrade the case as well as a caviar black as your main drive. Are you planning in overclocking your CPU? Most games use 4 or less cores, the i5-3570 would be a more suitable alternative for a gaming rig. The gtx 670 is a cheaper card and performs better than the hd 7970 in games like Battlefield 3.The motherboard/psu wil allow you to add a 2nd gtx 670 in the future to improve performance.

The GTX 670 is cheaper than the HD 7970. It seems that AMD's new drivers have improved the performance of the HD 7970 and it now performs better than the GTX 670 in games like Skyrim. Both cards will max the games you mention at high settings.
