Do all the desktops connect wirelessly

thinking about buying a desktop but i havent got an ethernet port in my room do the desktops connect through wifi. it will be my first desktop dont know how they work

You will need a wireless card,or alternatively homeplugs.
Homeplugs are basically a wired ethernet connection through your domestic wiring,plug one homeplug in to a socket next to your router then connect an ethernet cable from the homeplug to your router,plug the other one in to a socket next to your PC & connect an ethernet cable from that to your PC,normally homeplugs will give you a much better connection than a wireless card,
