    What do you guys think?

Here is my Spec and nearly 100% happy apart from one thing. I cannot make up my mind regarding the GPU. Its between the GTX 670 2gb, 680 2gb and 680 4gb. It will be for Guild wars 2, high textured and FPS games mainly. I know the difference between the 670 and 680 are very slim but is it worth the extra and would i benefit from the 680 4gb at all? I use a 1920 x 1080 23" monitor. Anything else you notice regarding my spec do tell

If you are using only one screen the 2GB 680 would actually perform better than the 4GB version, if using multiple screens then the 4GB one would be more useful.
However, the 670 is only very slightly worse than the 680's and it quite significantly cheaper, so I'd definitely go for the 670.

Any reason you're getting an overclocked machine if it's only for gaming? Most games won't benefit that much from OC'ing in general.

I'd also upgrade the warranty to at least silver for £5 and upgrade the power supply to a 750w PSU since your motherboard supports SLI.

Many thanks for advise which i will take. I've been under the impression OC'ing is the best way to max out your gaming. The aim is to get the best FPS i can get. Have i chosen more then i need?

    Thanks for your help

Most games are GPU dependant, I would put more emphasis in the GPU. If you decide not to overclock the CPU the triple copper heatpipe is a more suitable CPU as well as the non-pro version of your motherboard.

Thanks everyone for your help, very much appreciated. There is more thinking to be done. Would the spec posted above run games with better FPS or just a better system regarding other aspects such as budget. What was my original build aimed more towards?

    Thanks again.

Similar performance for most games, a few games that are more CPU intensive benefit from an overclocked CPU.

Interesting. Would an overclocked CPU benefit once adding a second GPU?
