    Finally OC'd fx 8170.

I managed to clock it all the way from 4.2 to 4.8 and stressed it, no problems what so ever. I do have 1 question, however. How do I get the actual clock speed to display on the computer properties? It says the clock is still at clock speed when I oc'd it. Thanks.

You wish it was an 8170

    Well done though.

I wouldn't put much by what computer properties says. Load up CPUID and watch the clocks there. http://www.cpuid.com/softwares/cpu-z.html

Did you do what I said or something else? get CPU-Z http://www.cpuid.com/downloads/cpu-z/1.58-setup-en.exe
Prime 95 stress testing tool that will put your CPU under 100% load so that the Overclock can be read accurately.

70 is ok it could be better but it's nothing to worry about 55 - 60 would be better, but unless its over 90, you have nothing to worry about.
