Do you have a dedicated graphics card? Are you connecting the monitor to the GPU?

Make sure you are connecting the cable into the DVI port in the GTX 560 ti. If you are already doing that you could check if the GPU is fitted properly into the motherboard. You could also give PCS a call for assistance.

I have a similar setup to you as in all my monitor cables have to thread from the GPU directly. But when my PC came there were caps over the ports built into the top of the motherboard. Did these not come with yours or did you miss understand their purpose & interpret them as a dust cap

Hi, im having the exact same problem, and having read all the threads about it in the forum still dont quite understand the fix. Ive tried connecting the monitor to the desktop using the VGA and DVI cables and both show no signal. Im not really sure what I should be doing, but as it took a total of 5 minutes from posting he'll call customer support, to having posted he fixed the problem im sure its not much. Any help would be appreciated

Also if this should be a new thread sorry, as this was so new I thought id just tag on.

Are you connecting the VGA or DVI directly to the GPU? Are you only using one cable at a time?

If that is the case you could try to check if your GPU is fitted correctly into the motherboard, make sure you use an anti static wrist strap or ground yourself.

    Hi,

About 5 min after posting this I realised I was being a moron. Thanks for the really quick reply, tis all fixed now. This seems to be a bizzarely common problem for something so simple. I was simply not using the correct adapter for the VGA and therefore plugging into the wrong place. Ty for the quick reply though, this forum is always so helpful. Not sure if theres anywhere i can give it a review, but if there was it would get a great one.
