    Selling a desktop?

Don't know if this is the right place but I'm looking to sell my desktop. It's of gaming spec, which is a bit too much for what I need, I'm looking at getting a laptop (from PC Specialist again). Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Gumtree is an excellent place to sell stuff!
Normally I'd advocate eBay but I'd say recently its gone downhill as a platform for selling goods. Bit of a shame really, but gumtree is brilliant and free!

Ok cheers, I'll have a look on there. When selling stuff my first thought is eBay but everybody wants something for nothing and I don't think I'd be able to sell this kind of system on there

    Thanks for the help

You'd definitely be able to sell it, its just difficult to create a tagline for people to search for! That will be the same problem with gumtree I would guess.

Other option of course is to strip down the old system into components and sell them individually, although this would be much more hassle!

    Spec was here ...

[Note by Rakk: These forums are not for selling old machines I'm afraid, if you want to sell old machines use forums specifically dedicated to it, or somewhere like ebay or Gumtree as mentioned above.]
