This is my spec but it’s about £100 over my budget at £787.00. I really only have £650 to spend. What should I change?

I want a quiet gaming PC able to play the most up to date games. I use head phones so sound is unimportant.

    Can you help?

    Many thanks

    1. Change to 450W PSU.
    2. Remove advanced cooling - go for standard cooler.
    3. Select a cheaper case.

Also for £10 you can upgrade to the Phenom X4 965, forgot to add that little detail.

I don't know if you are still keeping an eye on this thread but a question on the case

I expect to have to upgrade this PC in the future. When editing my spec in accordance with your suggestion a warning said the cpu cooler would not fit. Does the case you suggest have the room I need? would it be wise to go for a larger case?

I know this is difficult question but I would value your comments.

I think you got that the wrong way around lol, and yeah it would be a better idea to to pick a slightly bigger case like the Elite310/Maelstorm/Trigon/Sileo(depending on budget) for future expandability.
