    hmm, I think that I will just stay with what I have orded and I will decide what to do when the time comes to upgrade but cheers for all your help.
    one more thing am I going to need a DVI to HDMI cable to connect it.

    Just to clarify the HD5970 graphics cards we currently have in stock are manufactured by Sapphire. Normally we only stock Powercolor, but at the moment this line is Sapphire. It has 2 x DVI and 1 x Mini Display port (same as the Powercolor card). You can convert to HDMI from the DVI via an adapter (not supplied). If required, we may be able to supply an adapter, but I cannot guarantee this. I have however requested this is bundled with your order.

    The saphire ones look better do they perform as well?

    You'd have to read some reviews on the subject, basically only differences will be PCB, voltage regulators, fan speed/control, outer=shell, brand of VRAM. The chip itself is always the same.
