Hello

Can someone have a quick look over this build for me please?
It is nothing amazing but will do what I need it for, a small bit of gaming (COD4) and some video editing.

Budget is about £650, so any recomendations within that budget would be great. :)

Price: £651.00 including VAT and delivery.

Configure Here: http://www.pcspecialist.co.uk/computers/amd-top-spec-pc/

The spec you posted will struggle to play games like Call of Duty and the motherboard doesn't have USB3.0 or SATA 6.0GB/S.

That looks like a good build but I know nothing about AMD and I've heard that Intel has stronger upgrade paths. Also I already have an 1TB Seagate External Hard Drive so I won't really need the 1TB internal drive.
Another point is the RAM, I don't really know how Samsung RAM is so I would rather go with something that I know more about like Kingston RAM. And USB3.0 is really necessary is it?

Well thanks for the reply, but again can you reasure me about the AMD build? :)

I'd recommend to wait for Intel's new CPUs (launched on 9th Jan) and put together a new quotation based around these. If the rumours have any truth then they should offer excellent value for money (although the Motherboards are slightly more expensive!).

AMD is great and has a better upgrade path than Intel, Samsung RAM is good I'm using it in my computer you should only get 1600mhz RAM for overclocking. USB3.0 might not be needed just yet but it's worth having.

Thanks for the help Phoenix but I just learn't that my father ordered this on January 3rd (day before the VAT went up) he was going to surprise me with it. Im not fussed at all, just happy that im getting something to replace my laptop (Dell M1710) which is pretty buggered but is fairly old now. So yeah thanks again and great support here. :)
