    ASUS® P6X58D-E: DDR3, USB 3.0, SATA 6.0GB/s, 3-Way SLI or P6X58D PREMIUM??? is the PREMIUM better than P6X58D-E????

    You can press the "?" symbol on the configuration page to get a detailed breakdown of the two.

    In my opinion the biggest difference between these two is the price! The Premium version has a few more features and slightly better cooling but the -E version is more than ample for the majority of users.

    Take the -E version and put the money saved elsewhere in the PC.

    To be honest, the fact that you asking this question means that the features offered on the higher end board will be lost on you.

    Dont mean to be rude at all. But save your money

    To answer your question. yes it is better. but if you don't know why, its not worth the money.
