Apologies if this is in the wrong place.

I was looking through your shop and noticed you have an Xigmatek Achilles H.D.T Heat Pipe Direct Touch S1284C for sale. I have the S-183 version, but im wondering if this one is better? It certainly looks more appealing to the eye than mine.

Can't comment unfortunately, as we haven't benchmarked the two. After a quick look I think the difference will be minimal, as they both have similar heat-pipe setups and look a similar size.

Well its down to the tempting led lights then. God dammit ill take it.

This site is really bad for my finances.

EDIT, actually ill need to check the S-183 will fit in the trident case first....

Minimal, in all honesty youd dro lower temps by getting some MX3 / shin etsu Thermal paste and make sure its applied properly to the cooler

Just for reference, applying TIM to a direct touch cooler is loads different - see this link - dropped 5oc off mine, im using a Xigmatek Dark knight 2 line method
