The site indicates when the exchange rate has been calculated, if an item is sold by £x and you agree and pay that amount a retailer should not take more than the agreed amount without first asking for your consent.

Bought Metro 2033 too, I think I paid 3 quid something for it, oh well!

I like almost everything about it, except it's a FPS, and FPSs just make me claustrophobic. Ahem. I think I will like it, I just can't play that kind of game for long stretches... yeah, I'm a special case, lol.

I played through From Dust recently too, since it was like a fiver on Steam (I think that has ended now). Would recommend, I had a lot of fun with it, reminded me of Black&White in theme. Short game, but it will def get your gears grinding!

I looked at my statement, and it said £2.04 went to the game, then £1.50 went as an overseas charge -.-

    Heres the reply:

Thank you for contacting GameStop PC Downloads.

According to our records, you were charged $3.12 USD (approx 1.99 GBP).

We apologize for any confusion. The $2 is an authorization which is a temporary hold, not a charge. We do this check to verify that the information that you entered is correct. We do not collect any funds from the authorization. The time it takes for the authorization to drop off your card depends on your bank's policies.

    Again sorry for any confusion.

    Best Regards,

    Elisa

Think my bank is just annoying and charges for overseas transactions Great game though!
