Help please...
Hi hello, I was wondering if someone could help me with coming up with a spec for a new PC. Essentially I want a cheap (£400-£500) PC without a moniter as I'm gonna buy myself a shiny new HD TV and hook it up to that (does anyone know of any problems with doing this by the way?) with a blu-ray player, i'm sorry for being a nuisance I'm just a little computer illiterate and hit a stumbling block when asked how much RAM I wanted.

You should have no problems connecting to a TV.
As for ram,4GB should suffice for most people, you can always add more ram easily in the future if needed.

Thanks man but I was kind of hoping someone could walk me through the entire process.

You could always get a pre built pc,
Orion-£396 or the vulcan s-£519.
but i'm sure some of the guys will knock up a spec for you.

What will you be using the PC for?
AMD PHENOM II X4 965 (3.4 GHz) | ASUS® M5A87 | 4GB SAMSUNG DDR3 1333MHz | 1GB AMD RADEON™ HD6850 | 750GB WD CAVIAR BLACK
Dispatched!

Just a little bit of everything, its my new computer for uni as my laptop broke at the start of last year so just surfing the web, some light gaming (football manager) writing up essays etc. The only real necessity is a blu-ray player as i'm a bit of a film geek and am looking to upgrade from dvd by the time Star Wars gets released onto blu.
