Help with spec please see if this makes sense.

I hoping all this goes together, I’m not tec minded.

What will I be using it for?

The usual stuff, music, the web, photo editing, Youtube
But I also want to edit and transfer some old Vhs tapes to DVDs

My computer now is old, noisy and very slow
So I need help with my next computer.

Must say thanks for the help & advise I’ve had from the forum. Been very helpful

    Drew.

Looks pretty reasonable all around, the only things i'd note is that you won't really need a sound card unless you're going to be doing music editing and such, as the onboard sound should be good enough for mild games / music playback / films and such.

Also, when you order a monitor you will get the applicable cable ( in this case DVI I'd imagine) included, so you don't need to order cables seperately unless you specifically want extras / a spare.

other than that looks solid to me

    Thanks Trackeri.
Taken note of what you said about the sound and you’re right, I’ll only be listening to music, and a good spot with the leads.
