Im getting PC for same reason lol

I tried to get a good spec but £550 for is way to small. Someone else should help. You could save money on the monitor by just using your tv.

If you could push up the budget up to maybe 700/800, I think you could get a great amd setup perfect for shogun 2.

This spec comes in at £711, I know its £61 over ya budget there, but have a look and see what you think.

    Case
PCS MAELSTROM T900 BLACK GAMING CASE - I selected this as its a good low-end case with good cooling,

    Processor (CPU)
AMD PHENOM II X4 955 (3.20GHz/8MB CACHE/AM3) - BLACK EDITION - good quad core amd cpu, You can choose higher models if you like that will give you a slightly higher clock speed. But its good bang for buck.

    Motherboard
    ASUS® M5A87: AM3+ PLATFORM, DUAL DDR3,SATA 6.0GB/s, USB 3.0 - All you will need

    Memory (RAM)
    4GB SAMSUNG DDR3 DUAL-DDR3 1333MHz (2 X 2GB) - Can be upgraded at a later stage.

    Graphics Card
    1GB AMD RADEON™ HD6790 - DVI,HDMI,mDP - DX® 11, Eyefinity 3 Capable - Will play shogun 2 with pretty decent graphics settings.

    Memory - 1st Hard Disk
    750GB WD CAVIAR BLACK WD7502AAEX, SATA 6 Gb/s, 64MB CACHE (7200rpm)

    1st DVD/BLU-RAY Drive
24x DUAL LAYER DVD WRITER ±R/±RW/RAM

    Memory Card Reader
INTERNAL 52 IN 1 CARD READER (XD, MS, CF, SD, etc) + 1 x USB 2.0 PORT

    Power Supply
450W Quiet 80 PLUS Dual Rail PSU + 120mm Case Fan (£29) - If you want to pay extra for a corsair psu you can, however im sure this will do the job.

    Processor Cooling
SUPER QUIET 22dBA TRIPLE COPPER HEATPIPE CPU COOLER (£19) - Better than the AMD stock cooler, will keep ya cpu nice and cool, without a high price tag.

    Sound Card
ONBOARD 8 CHANNEL (7.1) HIGH DEF AUDIO (AS STANDARD)

    Network Facilities
ONBOARD 10/100/1000 GIGABIT LAN PORT - AS STANDARD ON ALL PCs
    USB Options
6 x USB 2.0 PORTS @ BACK PANEL (MIN 2 FRONT PORTS) AS STANDARD

    Operating System
Genuine Windows 7 Home Premium 64 Bit - inc DVD & Licence (£79)

    Office Software
    NO OFFICE SOFTWARE

    Anti-Virus
    NO ANTI-VIRUS SOFTWARE

    Monitor
    19" Widescreen TFT 1360 x 768 2MS, D-Sub, DVI, 18.5" Panel (£79) - you can get a better monitor but this will be fine.

    DVI-D & HDMI Monitor Cables
    1 x 2 METRE DVI-D CABLE (£5)

    Keyboard & Mouse
LOGITECH® MK250 WIRELESS KEYBOARD & MOUSE COMBO (£19) - not the best mouse and keyboard but will be fine for you what you need, again upgrade if you want better.

    Warranty
3 Year Silver Warranty (1 Year Collect & Return, 1 Year Parts, 3 Year Labour) (£5) _ a must lol

I hope this kinda helps ya dude, if ya need any advice or anything just shout.
