Comments needed!! swift...

Hi guys, this is my first time using PCS so hopefully everything will be great. I was wondering if anyone could give me any guidance on the specs below whether will this be a waste or it will be good to go for the next 3-4 years (future proof). I'm looking to buy it within the next 24 hours so swift comments are very much appreciated. I am mainly going to use this for gaming, CAD modeling, rendering, image editing & usual multi tasking. I plan to stick with the laptop screen but might choose to go dual monitor in the future.

would like to know about the possible heating issues etc. Nvr tried any products from PCS thus would be great if someone could tell me about the temp for Vortex II with this sort of specs. I am actually hoping for custom thermal paste option to be provided on PCS... and I really need to make the order really soon as I'll be starting Uni.

Fantastic spec you have put together there - there's little room for further improvement and with the SSD it will be very fast indeed!

in the future, if i choose to swap the hdd or ssd, will it be a tough job? when will thermal option be available? Can I make a special request? I am worried it gets overheated down the years.

Changing the HDD/SSD is pretty simple for anyone who's used to computer components.

We are looking into the thermal paste option and will have something available this weel.

firstly: I assume that is supposed to read "week"
Secondly: Cool (no pun intended!) i'm waiting for thermal paste so i can order my Vortex 15...

The thermal paste option has now been setup on the Vortex II series of laptops.

We do not plan to add this to any other models.
