Touchy subject.......WOW! (World of Warcraft)
Just wondering if anyone plays on any free private servers for world of warcraft and if the private servers are any different to the main paying ones?
Also anyone play Runes of magic? Is this sort of a wow clone?

Never played on a Private server, always felt it would ruin the game for me and you'd never know when the host would either just stop or ban you or whatever... Sub cost on WoW isnt exactly bank busting either so that was never a problem.

When I used to play World of Warcraft (quit just after patch 3.2) I used quite a lot of private servers to try out the other classes (aside from paladin) at level 80. The main difference between them and normal servers is that you're more likely to see GM's around and you can get all of the best pvp and pve gear for free by talking to npc's.

Last post was in 2010 apparently, so.... thread necromancy.
(Appropriate for a warlock I guess
)
Erm, anyway, I was playing Aion for a while... but I found it lacking in comparison to WoW. So, I'm going back to wow, but on a private server. (molten wow).
Anyone still use private servers currently on here? Never played on a private server before, so it will be a tad different, but we'll see.
